Your financial support allows Freedom Project to provide all our Inside Prison programs free of charge and to keep our Safe Returns programs free or at minimal cost for all participants and clients.  We do not charge set fees for our programs in the community to ensure that they are available to all, regardless of financial resources.

Individuals like you contribute the major portion (over 85%) of Freedom Project’s income.  We also enlist donations and grants from civic and religious groups, foundations and government agencies.

The major part of our budget is dedicated to covering minimal livelihood salaries for our three full-time staff.  We have a modest allowance for administrative, fundraising and program-related expenses.  We are able to keep our costs low because Freedom Project uses extensive volunteer support to conduct our programs both inside prison and in the community.
