Thanks to "Give BIG" Donors

Seattle Foundation Give BIG logo. Click to see FP donation page. A very grateful "Thank You" to all who donated to us in the  "Give BIG" campaign.  The Seattle Foundation received over $7.43 million in donations on May 2nd, which is more than double last year's donations. The Foundation will announce the amount of contributions donated to the Freedom Project by May 15.  The response to the campaign exceeded even the most optimistic expectations.  We were one of many nonprofit organizations in the greater Seattle area who benefited from their efforts to assist private non-profits.

It's not too late to donate. Even though the campaign is over, , you can donate by clicking the "Give BIG" logo and it will take you to our page on the Seattle Foundation's website.

Volunteers: Save the Date!
June 2nd Celebration!

What can you say to the 30-plus volunteers that give so much of their precious time and effort to provide NVC and mindfulness training to the men and women at Monroe and Purdy? How about "Thank You!"

So we're planning a VOLUNTEER CELEBRATION on Saturday, June 2nd. It's going to be a fun and meaningful celebration for all. We're inviting volunteers, returnees, donors and friends of the Freedom Project to join us.

The celebration will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 1 p.m. with a POTLUCK lunch! Bring whatever you'd like to share. Refreshments will be provided. Because of restrictions for some returnees, no one under 18, please.
